Hi, I'm Dr. Jared Van Ittersum.

I didn't become a dentist to do things the way they've always been done. I became a dentist to challenge what's possible.
Back in undergrad, I worked in a dental research lab on a project that sounded like science fiction—growing real human teeth in the lab.
That experience changed me. It taught me that transformation is always possible—even when the world says it isn't.
From Apple Innovation to Implant Evolution
While still in dental school, I helped co-develop what became Apple iTunesU, a digital learning platform used in 155 countries.
Why? Because I've always believed there's a smarter, better way to serve people.
That mindset led me to question one of the biggest problems in implant dentistry:

The Gentle Revolution You’ve Never Heard Of
In much of the world—Europe, Asia, and South America—single-piece, bendable implants have been used for over 50 years.
They don’t require bone grafts or major surgery and usually just a tiny pinprick to place.
The implants were FDA-approved in the U.S. in 2014…
But almost no one was using them.
No one was teaching them.
No one was telling patients they had a choice.
So I made it my mission to change that.
Teaching Dentists. Transforming Lives.
I mastered the technique and improved many of the procedures. Then I partnered with my colleague to create the One-Piece Implant Institute—a training center for dentists across the country who want to offer patients a safer, simpler, more dignified solution.
